In the digital era, we do everything online—shopping, banking, work, entertainment—and this leaves us exposed to great risk. ID and fraud protection services can help monitor, prevent, and in the worst-case scenario—help you recover from fraud.

IdentityForce is one of the highest-rated identity theft protection solutions on the market. It provides the pinnacle of internet security at your fingertips.

We at Web Tribunal tested the platform, evaluated its functionality, and read through numerous IdentityForce reviews to help you decide whether it’s the right choice for you.

Here’s what we found.

What Is IdentityForce?

IdentityForce is an ID theft protection service with over 40 years of experience. It offers identity, privacy, and credit security solutions with critical safeguards against attacks.

The company combines advanced detection technology, real-time alerts, 24/7 support, and full recovery to provide one of the best fraud protection products on the market.

Below in this IdentityForce review, we evaluate its features to show you why it is a must-have tool for both personal and professional use.

IdentityForce Features

IdentityForce is one of the most comprehensive identity theft protection services on the market. Let’s see what instruments it packs in its toolbox.

Family Protection

IdentityForce offers all-inclusive family protection against ID theft. This includes Social Security Number (SSN) Monitoring for your entire family with a 30-day free trial so that you can try it out without commitment.

You also get the IdentityForce Child Watch feature for FREE, Social Media Identity Monitoring, Reputation Management, and Deceased Family Member Remediation. The latter protects the data of family members enrolled in the plan from ID theft even after their death.

Credit Card Protection

IdentityForce has Bank and Credit Activity Alerts that notify you via email and text message when a charge, withdrawal, or balance transfer exceeds your predetermined limit.

Even though they are useful, the IdentityForce alert and monitoring tools are the only forms of protection from credit card fraud the company provides.

ID Recovery

IdentityForce doesn’t provide the level of exhaustive recovery you’d expect from a service of their caliber. Still, the White-Glove Family Restoration tools can come in handy in case of emergency.

This company secures US-based Certified Protection Specialists available 24/7 to you and your family members. They help restore your identity and do the heavy lifting for you, saving you hundreds of hours of paperwork.

Insurance

IdentityForce protection services offer $1 million theft insurance to help you recover out-of-pocket expenses, lost wages, and stolen money due to an ID fraud incident.

Depending on your specific IdentityForce membership plan, the amount of your insurance coverage may vary.

Advanced Fraud Monitoring

This feature delivers virtual, real-time, and proactive alerts when lenders like banks, car dealerships, government agencies, and mortgage companies request a copy of your credit report.

Early detection can help you stop fraudulent attempts to open accounts, new lines of credit in your name, or any other activity that can hurt your credit score.

Mobile Security Protection

When you download the IdentityForce app, you get access to a wide range of Mobile Security Protection and internet fraud prevention tools.

For example, the Mobile Attack Control monitors and alerts users about potential threats, spyware, unsecured Wi-Fi connections, and spoof networks. You also get access to a built-in secure VPN that provides you with anonymity and a secure internet connection anywhere you go.

Online PC Protection

Similar to the IdentityForce app, browser security features protect you against malicious software. IdentityForce has anti-phishing and anti-keylogging tools to safeguard against trojan horse malware while you’re shopping, banking, and sharing information online.

The software actively prevents the theft of sensitive personal data like your usernames, passwords, credit card number, bank account details, and other information that hackers might exploit while you’re online.

Alerts

The IdentityForce alert feature keeps abreast of any potential cybersecurity risks (which abound lately). For instance, Bank and Credit Card Alerts notify you of any irregularity in your bank and credit balances.

Investment Account Alerts detect potential fraud related to your 401(K) brokerage account. Other examples include a Smart SSN Tracker Change of Address, Court Records, Identity Threats, Payday Loans, Fraud, and Sex Offender Alerts.

The company also offers Fraud Alert Reminders. When placed on your credit file, these can prevent thieves from opening new lines of credit in your name.

IdentityForce Downsides

Like any other product, IdentityForce is not without its faults. Here, we list the most prominent drawbacks of the service.

  • The UltraSecure plan doesn’t include any IdentityForce credit report or monitoring features.
  • The IdentityForce starting cost is higher than that of most of its competitors.
  • The mobile app is occasionally buggy and has limited functionality.
  • There are unfavorable IdentityForce reviews on BBB.

Plans & Pricing

IdentityForce has two paid plans, UltraSecure and UltraSecure+Credit, as well as a family package:

UltraSecure
$14.99/month or $149/year

The IdentityForce UltraSecure Premium plan monitors your personal information around the clock. It provides intelligent alerts when you’re compromised and is backed with $1 million ID theft insurance.

UltraSecure+Credit
$19.99/month or $199.90/year

This plan includes everything in the UltraSecure subscription, plus tri-bureau credit report monitoring, a credit score simulator, and more.

Family Protection
Quote-only pricing

It covers two adults and an unlimited number of children. However, the IdentityForce Family Plan price is not available on the website and can only be obtained by calling the helpline on 1-866-246-4466.

You can use an IdentityForce coupon to get 17% off the price plus two months of free subscription with the annual plans.

Support

IdentityForce has email, phone, and live chat support, plus a comprehensive knowledge base.  The company claims to be available 24/7 for its members in the event of a theft issue.

Even though there are some positive IdentityForce customer service reviews, our experience showed the opposite.

We attempted to contact support reps to inquire about the Family Plan and ChildWatch. We left a few messages on the live chat platform and did not receive a response.

We then tested the email and phone support, too, only to get the same results. Our inquiries remained unanswered.

Ease of Use

To evaluate the ease of use of the platform for this IdentityForce review, we signed up for the service. The onboarding process is a bit lengthy but simple.

You have to select a plan and fill in your information (and add multiple family members if you wish). The software requires you to add some personal data like your SSN, home address, email, and more.

Once you set up two-factor authentication, alerts (email and mobile), and social media accounts, the dashboard becomes a vigilant monitoring tool. You also get access to the latest identity theft news and some free protection tools.

IdentityForce Customer Reviews

We looked through numerous IdentityForce reviews to determine how customers feel about the service. It came as no surprise that IdentityForce is among the top-rated identity theft protection tools on the internet.

IdentityForce’s rating on leading review sites like Trustpilot and ConsumerAffairs is outstanding. Users online love the extensive list of features and tools that come with paid subscriptions.

The all-time favorites, according to IdentityForce reviews on Reddit, are the Family Protection and ChildWatch features. Mobile Security Protection and the built-in VPN are the most common points of praise for mobile users.

The IdentityForce complaints we found echoed some of our concerns—namely, the lack of full recovery services and the bugs in the mobile app.

Despite these negative identity theft protection reviews, IdentityForce is still a powerful ever-evolving platform—we expect to see even more positive IdentityForce reviews in 2022.

Is IdentityForce Worth It?

After weighing up the pros and cons of IdentityForce, we can certainly say it offers some of the best identity theft monitoring and data security features on the market.

The IdentityForce pricing is on the expensive side and it falls short in terms of its recovery capabilities. Still, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more exhaustive ID protection service.

With its numerous excellent IdentityForce reviews, a large number of free resources, and unique features—the platform certainly stands out from the crowd.

Alternatives of IdentityForce

IdentityForce is undoubtedly one of the top ID protection services on the market, but it is hardly the only one. As part of our IdentityForce review process, we looked at other providers. Let’s see how they stack up against each other.

IdentityForce vs LifeLock

Both services have robust data security tools. Although LifeLock is more affordable, IdentityForce fights back with a more comprehensive set of features.

These include tools like anti-phishing and anti-keystroke logging software, SSN Tracker, credit score simulator, and a built-in VPN on the mobile app.

The all-encompassing solution monitors a whole range of personal, medical, and financial information along with your credit record and investment accounts.

However, LifeLock’s data recovery features are more robust.

IdentityForce vs Identity Guard

IdentityForce and Identity Guard are both formidable platforms, but there are a few key differences between them.

Identity Guard offers more rigorous credit and financial monitoring. You also get instant access to an emergency $2,000 if your accounts are frozen due to fraud. The service has a more transparent pricing structure with plans starting at $8.99/per month.

IdentityForce more than makes up for it with unique features like ChildWatch, a FREE ID theft protection solution for children, and tri-credit bureau scores and reports.

Identity Guard vs LifeLock

At first glance, these two ID theft protection services are nearly indistinguishable, but there are some notable differences in their pricing, approach, and functionality.

Both services come with $1 million insurance in the event of fraud and a dedicated case manager appointed to overlook your case. In case of financial loss, you also get $25,000 and an additional $25,000 for personal expenses.

The main difference is that LifeLock has fewer features, but Identity Guard is more reasonably priced. LifeLock also provides 24/7 phone assistance in the event of security breaches, while Identity Guard is available during business hours only.

Final Verdict

IdentityForce protection services are some of the best on the market. The platform comes with more perks than your run-of-the-mill cybersecurity solution.

Both membership plans have powerful and comprehensive features that ensure your privacy and security are intact. But, judging by the IdentityForce Ultrasecure+Credit reviews, you’ll get much better protection if you chip in for the pricier subscription.

Excellent credit monitoring, $1 million ID theft insurance, and numerous positive IdentityForce reviews—this solution is hands down one of the best identity theft protection services.
